What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra, often nicknamed “sleep yoga” or “yogic sleep”, is a deep, active rest and relaxation practice. It includes aspects of meditation, breathwork, & visualizations to cultivate deep relaxation in the mind, body, and nervous system - all while remaining aware and conscious of our being.

Research has shown that Yoga Nidra has benefits related to stress management, mood, self-transformation, receptivity, physiological and mental health, menstrual symptoms, and general well-being. The Sleep Foundation has also identified several ways Yoga Nidra can improve sleep experiences.

As a certified Yoga Nidra guide, Taylor has the pleasure of supporting every guided journey through Yoga Nidra with her voice for individuals to access deep relaxation.
